A Night Time Hypo Marathon

November 8, 2020
A flat lay of a table showing an Omnipod PDM, a Dexcom graph showing extended overnight hypos, an empty apple juice carton and a packet of dried pineapple

For my type 1 pals who feel like everyone else seems to have their blood sugars nailed… that is indeed a full 6 hour nighttime hypoglycaemia marathon!

Ideal for watching American history unfold as the election results came in… not so ideal for a big, important day of work ahead. Overall, 10/10 would not recommend. If you need me I’ll be applying extreme quantities of concealer to my eye bags and coffee to my veins. Also, dried pineapple at night reallllly sticks around in the morning, who knew? πŸ‘ŒπŸΌπŸπŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Hi Jen, get vibes & alerts from watch & phone. Last night I was alerted at 4am & got so fed up as I had my 2nd Glucotab dissolving under my tongue for speed turned my phone off. Still a little HI when I woke up so a coupla tabs & alert from Dex saying lost connection. Soon woke up connection. Love my watch that suggests I move when I’ve sat too long then congratulates me when I move. Also detects ‘workouts’ & after “Permissions” here in France that take ages I can check ECG & BP. Bon Lundi from sunny -2C Gironde, Best wishes
