This most vibrant, smart, remarkable woman Ami turned 1 in type 1 diabetes years and a few more in *actual* years in the space of a few days, so we grabbed another vibrant, smart, remarkable woman Marina (who just also happens to have type 1 – it really is a vibe) and went and ordered pretty much everything on the menu at Gloria’s.
We talked non-stop, devoured every plate, took some terribly-lit photos (decrease in quality directly proportional to the increase in excitement around both the food and the company), then rolled home in a heavenly, pillowy pasta haze.
And it was just about the most perfect evening a trifecta of faulty pancreases could offer.
