On Fridays we wear lipstick for video calls and end up sitting on the floor with the plants to hang with the good light and the realisation that last night was my first night free from blood glucose alarms in about 10 days. As much as I’m grateful for them, I’d also be grateful never to hear one at 3am ever again.
Sometimes living with type 1 diabetes is like having the most exhausting superpower… and sometimes it’s just exhausting, ain’t it? ✨
