I want to leave a comment, tell you how bloody brilliant that poem is without using the phrase “bloody brilliant”, but I have no other words. Thank you for this 💙
Thank you very much for this nice moment spent once again, listening to your voice, your words, your thought. You do such a good job at blogging diabetes. Thank you from Switzerland. Big hugs !
Thank you Alexander for this lovely comment – I truly appreciate it. I am planning more poems as I really enjoyed making this one so I hope that is good news! Thank you so much for watching, take care x
I loved this, even though I had to wait until I’d stopped crying to tell you so. We’re looking into the Omnipod for our 4 year old boy (diagnosed 3 years ago), and in our appointment this morning the consultant and nurses finally agreed that we could look at changing pumps. His current pump is tubed and it’s never felt like a good fit for us. It’s that terrible tug though – we should be so grateful, we *are* so grateful, but it could be better and I owe it to him to find out how. It was such a relief to feel listened to today, so I think your beautiful, painful words just helped me to process that a bit more. I only came here looking for an Omnipod review, so thank you for sharing this.
Hi Louise, I just wanted to get in touch and thank you horrendously late for your lovely, heartfelt comment – it really is so encouraging when I hear that the ramblings I put down have helped in some way. Did your son get onto the Omnipod? I am glad you are feeling listened to by your HCPs and I hope that there has been some progress x
