Managing type 1 diabetes and travel. And time zones. And heat. And funky sleep patterns. And high pressure environments.
Apologies for the delay… time flies when you’re in AUSTRALIA!!! A pretty different kind of month this month, which provided plenty of fodder for this mammoth catch up around type 1 diabetes and attempting to manage it while travelling and working consecutive night shifts. There’s been lots of positives but also some much less fun moments thanks to this little tinker of a chronic condition. It’s been a rollercoaster month in more ways than one but bloody hell I’m having a ball. Buckle up friends!

You’re a celeb! … so glad you didn’t get outta there!
Ha, me too! Jungle life is pretty epic as it goes 🙂
I’m afraid I indulged in a spare handset for Maddie because I’m such a panicker. I also take a copy of all our basal profiles away with us. I’m glad I did though. This happened to her half an hour before getting on a 14 hour flight, and we couldn’t reset it. I’d never been so grateful for being so overprepared!
